Change of Guards in ECCO Thailand

Strong management team in place to drive further improvements in ECCO Thailand and assist in building ECCO’s new factory in Saraburi.

Deputy Managing Director with ECCO Thailand, Bo Grabowski, will as of 1 September 2012 step up as Acting Managing Director. This is due to Managing Director James Phillips having decided to leave ECCO to seek new challenges.

Bo Grabowski has been with ECCO Thailand since 1 June 2012 as Deputy Managing Director. He is born in Denmark and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and Economics. Previously Bo Grabowski held the position as Senior Vice President for South East Asia for an international logistics company, based in Singapore, and he has a long track record as an international manager having also worked in Malaysia, Indonesia, China and the Netherlands.

Going forward the ECCO Thailand Management team consists of:

  • Bo Grabowski, Acting Managing Director
  • Mark Jensen, Production Director
  • Jurgen Keck, Development Director
  • Alexandre Gerard, Finance & Administration Director
  • René Jessen, Logistics Director

“We are pleased to have a strong management team in place as ECCO Thailand is a very important entity for our group. The team will continue to improve quality, deliveries and productivity, as well as assist in building ECCO’s new factory in Saraburi,” said Panos Mytaros, Executive Vice President for ECCO Global Production.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank James Phillips for his work for ECCO, not least his efforts during the Thailand flooding last year. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” said Panos Mytaros.
