ECCO invests in Bredebro

ECCO celebrates its 50th Anniversary with a gift for Bredebro.
“We were very well received by the city and its citizens when we came to Bredebro 50 years ago. The anniversary is a good opportunity to participate in the development of the city,” says Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak.
The gift is a project to support the citizens and retailers in Bredebro.
“When we came 50 years ago, Bredebro was a thriving commercial centre with many shops. Over the years it has become a little quieter. We have therefore decided to build an exciting shopping centre with stores,” says Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak.
The project is named Toosbuys Torv and is going to be established between Storegade, Industrivej and the railway in Bredebro.

The gift is a two-digit million investment in the commercial and leisure activities of Bredebro.
“ECCO has purchased a number of buildings on Storegade in Bredebro. They will be involved in order to carry out the project,” says Gerd Rahbek-Clemmensen CEO of ECCO Holding A/S.
The ECCO store in Bredebro is moving to Toosbuys Torv while Centrum Blomster is moving to the location of the ECCO store in Storegade.
“The project will now be further developed in close cooperation with the local councils of Bredebro and with Tønder Municipality. As the various ideas and opportunities evolve we will gradually be able to reveal more details,” says Gerd Rahbek-Clemmensen.
The project is planned for takeoff by year end 2013 or the beginning of 2014.
