ECCO Shoes Pacific awarded Prince Henrik's Medal of Honour

ECCO receives the Diploma of the Danish Export Association and HRH Prince Henrik's Medal of Honour presented by HRH Crown Prince Frederik.

The Medal is awarded in recognition of outstanding effort in promoting and marketing Danish products and services abroad.

The medal is awarded by a judging committee chaired by HRH Prince Henrik of Denmark, four representatives appointed by the Executive Committee of the Danish Export Association, and a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Australian market has shown stable growth since ECCO entered the region in 1990 and it has become an important part of ECCO’s global business.

The award is celebrated in conjunction with the Sydney Opera House 40th Anniversary, where ECCO is part of the Danish Design at the House exhibition. The Western Foyer of the Sydney Opera House has been transformed into an installation featuring timeless design classics from the Utzon era, together with innovative contemporary design from Denmark, such as ECCO shoes.
