The ECCO Tannery in Thailand has been recognised by the government with the Good Factory Award 2012 for Human Contribution. The award is given by the Ministry of Labour, from the Department of Skill Development.
“We are honoured to be recognised in this manner. The award is evidence of our emphasis on consistent human resources development,” says Gitsada Boonchirt, Vice Managing Director, ECCO Tannery Thailand.
The award particularly recognises organisations that develop and promote employees’ skills and expertise.
ECCO Tannery receives the award for providing significant training sessions via its employee development programs. The training is for new hires as well as existing employees in order to strengthen their knowledge and abilities.
